The DrugWipe lines are quick and accurate tests used globally by law enforcement, customs officials, drug squads, DREs (Drug Recognition Experts) and employers. DrugWipe has been developed by Securetec AG, a leader in the detection of drugs and hazardous substances.

DrugWipe detects several common drugs within 3-8 minutes. This non-invasive drug test for the subject provides a preliminary screening results for cannabis, opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, ecstasy, methadone, ketamine and benzodiazepines. It is documented to be well received by the test subjects and non-intrusive for the driver, the employees etc.

The test is accomplished by wiping a small moist wiping fleece on a surface, or on the forehead, palm, or tongue of an individual. An integrated ampule is then broken which acts as the medium for transporting the collected analyte to the antigen binding site. The DrugWipe can be configured to detect cannabis, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, MDMA, and benzodiazepines. Immunoassay strips containing antibodies bind to components of the different drugs.

The Drugwipe range is successfully implemented globally throughout the police, customs and border agencies, rehabilitation centres and prisons, military forces and employers on more than 6 continents and in 30 countries.
